T-Fal Balanced Living Juice Extractor

Morning Glory Juice

Yields: 2 quarts (32oz)

Ingredients

5 pounds carrots

1 (3-inch) chunk fresh ginger

3 celery stalks

2 Fuji apples, unpeeled

2 teaspoons raw honey

1 lemon, freshly squeezed

Method

  • Peel the carrots. Trim the ends. Set aside.
  • Clean the ginger, Peel it and set aside.
  • In the T-Fal Balanced Living Juice Extractor, combine the carrots, ginger, celery apples, honey and add lemon juice.
  • Stir well and drink immediately.

Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

 

4 (5-ounce) center-cut salmon fillets (about 1-inch-thick), skin on or off

2 tablespoons olive oil

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Serving suggestions: Sautéed Asparagus, Leeks & Fava Beans or Grilled Eggplant, Zucchini and Tomato

Method

  • Bring the salmon to room temperature 10 minutes before cooking.
  • Pre heat the T-Fal Balanced Living Curved Grill
  • Season the fish with salt and pepper. Raise the heat to medium-high. Place the salmon, skin-side up on the grill. Cook until golden brown on 1 side, about 4 minutes. Turn the fish over with a spatula and cook until it feels firm to the touch and the skin is crisp if desired, about 3 minutes more.
  • The skin can be served or removed easily with a knife or spoon. Transfer to a plate and serve as desired.

Ingredients

1 large eggplant sliced

1 zucchini, sliced

2 large tomatoes quartered

olive oil for brushing

sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  • Brush vegetables with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and ground black pepper.
  • Add vegetables to T-Fal Balanced Living Curved Grill and cook for 6min, turning them half way through the cooking time.
  • Once the vegetables have gained color serve immediately

Sautéed Asparagus, Leeks & Fava Beans (Side)

Ingredients

 

1 pound asparagus, thinly sliced on a bias

1 large leek, thinly sliced

½ pound fava beans

½ tablespoon unsalted butter (for Actifry: ½ tbsp. olive oil)

sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  • Add all ingredients to the T-Fal Activfry
  • Add ½ tbsp. of olive oil
  • Cook for 5 minutes and season with a little salt and pepper. Serve warm.

Ingredients

8oz bacon

4 large eggs

2 large tomatoes

Griddle Cakes Recipe

2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring

2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1/2 tea spoon salt

2 large eggs

1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk

Serving suggestion: cooked crispy bacon, eggs any style and griddled cooked tomatoes.

Method

  • In a mixing bowl sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt,In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk; Add to liquid mixture to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth.
  • If the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk.
  • Pre heat T-Fal Balanced Living Griddle, waiting for the therma spot to turn red. Using 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Serve hot!
