Better FED than Dead, Danny’s foundation to Feed Educate and Develop adults and children all over the world, has given it’s support to “Bring IT!” A Short Film Festival, that has created an opportunity for filmmakers to explore hunger and life’s downturns through a creative medium, and inspire action toward assuring that people in our communities have food on their tables regardless of circumstances.
The first screening of the festival will be held at The Watermark on the Hudson,8100 River Road, North Bergen, NJ. Friday 25th June 2010, A donation of $45 is recommended per guest. Screenings at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm-with Awards Ceremony to follow Reception 8:00-10:00pm
Better FED than Dead has agreed to sponsor the New York City section of the “Bring IT!” festival which will be held at the Oval Cinema that is located in the Stuyvesant Town Oval in Manhattan, on Thursday July 8th 2010.
All proceeds go to: Center for Food Action, a 501c(3) Non-profit organization whose mission is to fight hunger and homelessness in Northern New Jersey.
