So the crew from Silver Plume and myself have just hit Texas to film the next 6 shows for the first season of Rescue Chef, the first thing that hit us all was the warm air of the spring winds, which we all embraced as we had all had enough of the bitter winds of New York. So we have based our selfs in Austin, which seems a really cool place to be! The food is looking great, we went out for real Texan BBQ last night at a place called Stubb’s, it was like nothing i’d ever had before, really tender and full of a great smokey flavor, I’m really looking forward to experiment with all the Tex Mex and all the fantastic bars and live music venues here! So first show tomorrow of our 10 days on the road is with Liz Bullock, whos got a pasta problem, tell you all about it when we get done.
